		<description>On paper I would certainly agree with you Emmett, it looks extremely tough for any of the African nations to advance.

But then again, World Cups almost always have at least one surprise team (think Senegal in 2002, Nigeria in 1994 and Cameroon in 1990) and one under-performing team (France 2002, Coumbia 1994).  

I wouldn&#039;t bet against one of the African nations going on a bit of a &quot;run&quot;, but then, I wouldn&#039;t pick out one of them to bet on!</description>
