But then again, World Cups almost always have at least one surprise team (think Senegal in 2002, Nigeria in 1994 and Cameroon in 1990) and one under-performing team (France 2002, Coumbia 1994). I wouldn't bet against one of the African nations going on a bit of a "run", but then, I wouldn't pick out one of them to bet on!
