One cannot help but feel great optimism towards the forthcoming season, as one feels that the squad, as it is at present, can push on from last season's success. The additions made to the squad have, thus far, been very encouraging and I wouldn't be surprised if a couple more acquisitions are made before our opening Premiership fixture at Bolton Wanderers. I will at Spurs' two home 'prestige' friendlies against Inter Milan and Real Sociedad that I hope will sufficiently whet one's appetite for the long season ahead!
