Liverpool Champions, Everton Relegated? 100/1 For The Brave
August 14th, 2006 by Alan HylandsAfter a brief but highly successful introduction on State of the Game this week our intrepid Football Punter has moved onto bigger things as he launches his own website, Football Punter, on the White Storm network aiming to bring the very best in tips and predictions for the new season in British football as well as scouring the web to get the best special offers and odds from the UK’s top bookmakers for readers.
We’ll be supporting Football Punter here at State of the Game with weekend football predictions throughout the season and will be keeping an eye on what FP uncovers in the way of interesting bets.
For brave Liverpool fans one of the first finds is a Merseyside Double that would put a smile on red faces come the end of the season but leave the blues feeling rather more blue than usual.

Okay folks, I’ve just had to delete two comments from Everton fans with a) no sense of humour (I thought all Scousers were constantly laughing and joking like Stan Boardman and Ken Dodd) and b) no concept of the difference between pointing out available odds on an unlikely bet (I thought 100/1 would signify just how much VC Bet think this is likely to come off?) and actually thinking that Liverpool will be champions and Everton will be relegated.
In future read the posts before commenting. Idiotic abuse will not be tolerated at State of the Game.

funnily enough i am not surprised that some everton fans didnt see the funny side of your liverpool champions/everton relegated odds.
did someone not think that this would provoke a negative reaction from blue fans?
i am actually a red fan but even i saw the headline bet odds and thought yes now that would be great, if i was a blue i would have thought you were taking the michael.
anyway the headline is out there now so expect some non amusing banter from blue fans…
