It was Tommy Doherty’s performance in midfield and Steve Jones’ on the wing that I remember most fondly. How they relieved the pressure with their touch, control and pace, how the Spanish actually seemed scared off them.

I’d more than settle for the same result tomorrow night… here’s hoping!
